Wherever we operate, Enefit is committed to being a good neighbor. In Utah, that means considering transportation, housing and recreation, health and human services, and education. Since coming to the state in 2011, Enefit has made a point of getting to know state and local officials and community members in the Uintah Basin. We’ve held multiple open houses and public meetings to introduce the Utah Project to the public, and have taken state and local officials, as well as members of the news media, on tours of the Project property. We’ve also reached out to discuss the Project with environmental groups and others concerned with potential impacts. While Project activities have slowed, we continue to keep interested parties informed through personal contacts and our periodic email newsletter (sign up here).
